The mother of Leonardo Hammond (having his mother's last name). Jesseca Hammond was raised by a single father who, consequently, was a hunter who seemed to find his daughter his godsend as with the discovery of her existence he promptly quit hunting to raise the little girl (though with the knowledge of how to defend herself). Jess was always a 'free spirit' especially when it dealt with making herself viewed as a strong person that when she was basically 'owned' by her highschool sweetheart which ultimately brought her to giving birth to his child; she hadn't known why she was where she was now. |
Her friendship with one Ekaterina Winchester (nee Polechev) was what saved her from being totaled by the extremely abusive relationship. Using her home as a safe haven; Jess relocated her and her son to Kansas to be out of Mark's reach. |
